Lindsay Lohan didn't just return to work ... she CRUSHED IT.
The star, who recently signed on to guest star on Eastbound & Down's series finale as the adult version of Kenny Powers' daughter, hit one out of the park.
Lohan reportedly "had a sober living coach with her the entire time she was on set," you know, just to make sure, but earned a standing ovation ... seriously.
After filming, the cast and crew were "so impressed by the Mean Girls star's performance, that they gave her a standing ovation," according to TMZ.
The HBO show's co-creator Jody Hill even "hugged it out" with her.
Standing ovations ... sober coaches ... looking less like a walking cautionary tale ... those visits from Ben Affleck and Oprah apparently worked wonders
